Logging Into VPN

These steps will be done each time you log into VPN from a remote location (outside a Hunter Fan office/site).  These steps will be familiar with only slight changes from previous VPN sessions.

 

You MUST be remote, not in a Hunter Fan site or on a Hunter Fan wi-fi, for this to work.  You cannot VPN from within a Hunter Fan connected network.

 

  1.   Open Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client (VPN)
     This icon can be found in your system tray, in the lower right corner near the clock.
     
     
  2. This should open the AnyConnect Client window.

     Verify that your window shows “vpndc2.hunterfan.com”, if not please type vpndc2.hunterfan.com to update the field before hitting connect.
     
     
  3.   Click “Connect”.
     
     
  4. Type in your interim password, which you just set above.

    5. You should receive a “success” message.

      6. Click “Accept”


     7. Congratulations!!!   You are now connected to VPN using the interim method.
